Since March 17, 2008, the Iberia Parish
Public Works Department began a scheduled debris program. Debris will be
picked up by Council District. The regular schedule can be found at this
link:

These items (list is not
all conclusive) will not be picked up: Household Garbage,
Butane Tanks, Fiberglass (except tubs), Fiberglass Boats, Fuel Tanks,
Automobile Parts, Tires with rims, Oxygen Bottles, Acetylene Bottles,
Creosote Lumber, Paint, Miscellaneous Chemicals, Asbestos, 55 Gallon
Drums.

Debris should be placed at
the curb/edge of the property no earlier than 6 p.m., two (2)
days before the scheduled pick-up.

EXTENDED IBERIA PARISH LANDFILL HOURS

Beginning March 15, 2008,
the Iberia Parish Landfill located at 5905 Freetown Road will be open
to the public on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Items permitted are: Wood
Waste, Concrete and Masonry, Yard Waste, Roofing Shingles, Sheet
Metal, Metal, Sheetrock and Miscellaneous Construction and Demolition
Material.
